Budget alternatives to Pierre Hardy and Jil Sander

It’s not often that you’ll find me internet shopping (I like to try out the clothes before I buy them), but when I do, you can be sure I’ll be finding budget alternatives to the brands I (and you) love.

Everything Zara:

Doing the two buckle thing as previously seen by Hardy.

Jil Sander all the way.

The Eyeshadow Dilemma

There are no words to describe how beautiful the spring collections we see each year are. But also, each year the same thought crosses my mind.

Is spring really all about pastel eyeshadow and pink lipgloss? I mean, from every well-known cosmetics brand we will this spring see pastels and pinks. And this is the dilemma every single year. For me at least. I am not a huge eyeshadow junkie. I will never spend the money on a colorful Chanel eyeshadow palette or Dior glittery pink lipgloss. It doesn’t exist in my world.

You may now think of me as an ignorant blogger who doesn’t appreciate the beauty of a electric blue quint or matte yellow eyeshadow (etc etc..) BUT, the truth is I’ve already been in that jungle. And it’s a terrible world where eyeshadow palettes lay around for years, untouched, unloved, forgotten. Until a new pastel, colorful quint comes around just to be equally lost and wasted. With time I have learned how to spend my money well and smart (I keep telling myself that).

So I do apologize for the lack of crazy bold colors on this blog. This ad does look amazing, I can only enjoy it from a distance. That does make me a bit sad.

But it makes my wallet really, really happy.
